Both of mine have done exactly the same. For now, I have them sort of tie-wrapped into place. They still shoot the washer fluid onto the windshield enough to get the job done. Just not as well as they were originally intended. I'm working on a couple of ideas for a fix. I'll post if I come up with one that works well.
