winegard antenna
I want to ditch my old winegard antenna and replace it with something newer antenna-wise. Can I do that and just use the existing hardware? Such as the hand crank? And is it worth it to do this? 1988 ...

THIS AREA is quite rural with mountains.....my current old winegard picks up a total of 7 channels, two of which are in Spanish....I see the problem therein with the need for the DC voltage but watching a guy install the Jack I see he simply plugs the adapter into the TV set. Hmmmm......Still confused but hope to sort this out..
