Most customers cannot tell the difference. I am talking EASE of operation for people that all they want to do is turn on a button and not have to worry about the Dome switching between 3 sats(Dish) and then having to have the DISH receiver software programmed for that. Most customers have NO IDEA what the parameters are for Dish operation in a DOME system. They try to remove the HOME receiver and then just plug it in to the RV and then get upset when it does not operate. Then they have to go thru the Multiswitch(Check switch) programming on the receiver and they DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO THAT. THAT is a fact jack as someone who over the years has had to deal with customers that do not know or care to know how the systems must be tuned to operate. THAT is why Tiffin installs Direct TV receivers and we recommend them for non technical customers. Some of you on these forums probably are smart enough to do all this but MOST are not. Doug
