The larger Winnies are aimed at older retired folks, many that have no business on a roof or high ladder. It's corporate irresponsibility to design a roof that has to be inspected every 6 months. And, the fact that they specify such frequent inspection is acknowledgement that they know it. Even with poor design a well caulked seam should not leak. But, add lack of quality control and you need the 6 month clause.
Old people pay others as they loose ability, or they just stop doing it. Are you trying to say that a 6 month seam inspection is the only periodic maintenance on any MH made that is out of line for old people? I grumble more about polishing the wheels or checking the hub oil level than the roof, and those are common to most MH.
I've checked my roof every spring, fixed about 2' of it, and it has not ruined my life. In fact I will do that any day over maintaining a rubber roof.
