A real hard case of acceptance is the issue. That is the problem I found talking too people in the US if it is outside their comfort zone, they stick to the tried and true. What makes it difficult is they have no yardstick to judge them by.
An example of acceptance (or lack thereof):
I remember when the first Subaru 4wd vehicles started coming over here. The 4x4 crowd laughed at them because they looked at them from their perspective (hard core mud bog/rock crawlin' "wheelin'"). Those guys with their low range transfer cases and no center diff laughed a lot less when they noticed while the the big 4x4s were upside down in ditches in the winter, those little Subarus were just chugging along.
