Goldencrazy, I was actually debating on just doing without my fresh water holding tank, as well is the greywater tank and draining both. Would be less for me to worry about in terms of tanks/pipes freezing and bursting. I have a bunch of 2.5 gallon jugs of fresh water I got from Safeway to use for drinking and cooking. I can refill those at any nearby springs, streams or rivers that aren't frozen and purify as needed. For bathing I will shower at the YMCA whenever I decide to make the drive to the city for supplies. Otherwise, I will use wet wipes or soap with water heated on the propane cook stove to keep myself clean. I was also planning on having the dogs in my bed to keep all of us warmer. It might get a little rough, but we will survive and I will be better equipped and more prepared next year. Thanks for the tips!
