I admire all the do-it-yourselfers but I'm not one of them and will never be and neither am I "rich". So I would disagree with those who say you have to be one or the other. I've learned a lot in 35 yrs of RVing so I know a few basic things to fix and look for if the stove doesn't light or the slide doesn't work but I really don't do any significant repairs. So we have spent some money over the years and called mobile repair services a number of times but still don't spend as much as long motel trips, cruises, European vacations, etc. We are debt free with a 2003 Class C and soon will leave on a month trip(with credit card handy).
