I would assume any RV owner likes to travel, so don't get the hesitation for going 1500 miles.
Years ago I pick up nice Barth almost 3000 miles from home and across the border. Sure that gave me opportunity to see friends that I see regularly every 10 years.
Buying Mercedes diesels, I have to seek them 2-3000 miles from home as well since California did not sell them new in last generation.
Always make mini-vacation out of that and often stop at Chicago, where load of Polish beer and sausages pay for the trip cost on price differences alone.
Import beer in Chicago 80 cents, it is $2.20 in CA.
Even bigger difference on kielbasa.
