Would You Purchase?

Would appreciate what your thoughts are on purchasing this motor home. According to NADA it is priced about right. It certainly looks in very good shape. Low miles for a diesel. I have not yet seen it and just wanted preliminary review to decide if it was worthwhile to do so. Of course everything is based upon my mechanic's inspection and a test drive.

  • What is on the side wall mid way down the drivers side? It's not a good picture but it looks like damage or a poor repair. Maybe a removed decal? There's a small spot on the other side under the window too.
  • Treks are pretty nice smaller coaches, if that is what you want, this looks like a good deal.

But the diesels are a bit under powered. but they get great fuel milage

Most treks I have seen only have the drop down bed.

  • If you don't do anything else, verify the tire date codes and don't take their word for how "new" they are. When I bought my coach, we were assured that the tires had been replaced 2 years before we bought it. Turns out, they were replaced 2 years before we bought it, but according to the date codes, the folks we bought it from were sold old tires off the shelf. We had our first blowout on our first trip of 300 miles a couple months later and found out the tires were actually 10 years old.
