I gave up a lot of convience when I left the B ranks and joined the Travel Trailer ranks.
But it worked for us, during our recently completed grand journey across America. It worked primarily because we had our dog with us. It would have been tough having to drive the B to the many places we visited and have the dog cooped up in it. With the trailer, it was left at the camp ground, and he had a lot of space. While we didn't need the AC much at all, it was available for the dog when at the camp grounds.
And I will admit the extra room inside was nice at night, and I really enjoyed the large dry bath.
The F150 was a joy to drive and ride in also. It pulled the trailer with no problems.
Without the dog, I wouldn't mind the old Roadtrek 200. Lots of outside storage, and great handling.
