I would think the guy giving out tickets would frequent the truck stops. More bang for Arizona's buck
He'd be bored stiff at some little gas station in Bagdad, Arizona.

I'm confused about it also. First exmple; I went to get my AZ drivers license. I told them I drove a MH over 26K. They said I didn't need special licence that it didn't apply to me. Second example. A pick up turned in front of me (his fault). On the accident report the state trooper marked the box stating my MH was under 26K, said it didn't apply. Third example. Fueling at truck stop truck lanes. State trooper pulls in to car lane a few feet away he looks at me and MH. I wave and say hi, he aknowledged me, we finish fueling and drive off.
I have called AZ MVD and asked about the 26K restrictions and have been told not to worry about it. Don't apply to me. ????
Whatever you do - DO NOT mess with the MVD in Arizona. They are self-serving on the public dole employees protecting their jobs with endless inefficiency.
The authorized service Arizona offices are much more efficient.
