“Light Class Motor Vehicles” are defined as any motor vehicles using use fuel (diesel) on the highways of this state except for use class vehicles. This is copied from the state law. I read it as two axle MH over 26K are classified as Light Class Motor Vehicles.
Then you read it wrong, because that is not what it says. It says have a "declared gross vehicle weight." That is not what the vehicle currently weighs, that is a weight that appears on your registration that is the total weight intended to be carried on that vehicle plus the weight of the vehicle. In
California a DGVW is only required on commercial vehicles.
We are talking AZ not CA.
A MH is not a road tractor, truck tractor, a truck , having over 26k DW , more than two axles, or designed to carry over 20 passengers.
An RV is not a truck and does not have a declared weight. Therefore exempt from the higher tax.
We are talking both because if you go to AZ with your CA registered vehicle you have to comply with the law. And YES they are talking RV's. Have you even followed the discussion on here? It's about RV's getting tickets for fueling at the wrong pumps.
