Second, after Labor Day begins a season the locals call "the newlyweds and the nearly deads." That is all the people who want to wait until the children crowd is gone.
Third, September is becoming more and more popular due to the great animal watching and the fact the weather is normally great.
Biggest thing to watch out for in September is forest fires. If a big one is burning, smoke can be a real issue.
