We have been to Yellowstone 6-7 times with our 24ft Class C. We don't tow a car and like to have our kitchen and bathroom facilities with us as some parts of the Park are quite remote. We visit in early June while families with school age kids are waiting for school to get out. Makes driving around, parking and getting campsites easier when the park is less crowded. Last year with the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service and cheap gas prices the park was more crowded than in the past.

July and August are the busiest months in the Park and there is a total eclipse of the sun on August 21st this year that passes over Grand Teton National park just south of Yellowstone that will bring out more people before and after that date. Camping reservations in later August will be especially hard to get this year.
