Been away from the forum for a while - work, work, work. Now we're thinking of taking the MH to Yellowstone for a week sometime in September. Having never been there, I have a few obvious questions:...

Never been in September, but have never had a reservation & always have found a site. May have had to wait a day outside the park to get a site the next morning.
In 2009, we stayed in Mammoth, which is open year round. What I have on Yellowstone & Tetons. Describes our quick 2009 stay at Mammoth.
Check closing dates of the other campgrounds as well.
