Newer fridges aren't as sensitive to leveling. Slides are....the unit has to move easily/evenly withing the exact hole cut in sidewall for it. We use a bubble level. If any part of the bubble is in the bullseye, we have always been good to go. I am assuming you do not have hydraulic/electric levelers. If one has those, very little reason not to level except for hot asphalt etc.
