I don’t have the F53 chassis but can relate some experience. I replaced my power steering pump and believe that will be the most difficult replacement. Removing the radiator and pulleys will give you adequate room. The pulley on my P/S pump needed to be removed from the pump to allow its removal. This requires a power steering pump pulley puller which I obtained at Harbor Freight. Detaching the P/S hoses from the pump was difficult as well due to space issues. However, if you take your time and work methodically, I don’t believe anything is outside the capabilities of a backyard mechanic. The water pump may be an adventure as well but with everything else removed should be doable. I would plan on a couple weekends to do all of this. One thing of note, the P/S pump on my 460 was actually listed as one used on the Ford diesel pickups. Make sure you compare the new one to the old one to assure you don’t have to return it for another (as I did).
