Been there, done all of that. All easy enough with out pulling the radiator, EXCEPT the water pump. The water pump is a real bear with the radiator in place. Scraping the old gasket off with out being able to see it, is really challenging.
2 1/2 hours to change the belts is a stretch. With dog house removed, I can do it in 15 minutes. 1/2", 9/16" & 5/8" wrenches are all that's required. And a pry bar.
I suggest removing the radiator, which requires removing the AC condenser. Be prepared to discharge and recharge the AC.
Radiator hoses are unique to 460 F53 chassis. Motocraft only.
Lower KN4969. Upper KM4941. Rockauto is a good source.
No special tool required to remove the fan clutch.
Alternator is an easy change, any time. Don't waste your money now. Tensoiner rarely fails. Just replace the idler pulley.
A puller is required to remove the pulley from the PS pump.
Two bolts hold the radiator and condenser in place. Two bolts on top of the fan shroud need to be removed. Hard to see.
No need to remove the tranny cooler, just bent the brackets forward. PS reservoir will need to be moved to drivers side a few inches.
Go for it! One long day in the driveway should do it.
I'm sitting in Quartzsite twiddling my thumbs. Bring you junk over here and we'll get er done. GRIN
