In 1992 a popular Class C tire was 8.00X16½ - which is a tire size that can be problematic to find today. If that is what it uses, make sure you know where you will find them and how much that will cost.

The only way you are going to get any idea as to whether or not the rig is of any value is to go look at it. It is going on 27 years old. What option could you possibly be interested in knowing about that couldn't be verified by 10 seconds of observation? Only you can decide if it will serve your needs. A test drive will also go a long way to determining it's basic health. If it passes the eyeball test and doesn't fall apart on the test drive you could have a mechanic check it out before shelling out the money.
My expectation would be anything that is original equipment is likely to die at any time. Look around your house to see how many 30 year old appliances and electronics you still have in operation. The ones in the RV weren't built any better and they have been bounced around for 62000 miles. Whether or not it is the vehicle for you depends upon your use and expectations. For me, a rig like that would be destined to be a football game tailgater, a hunting and fishing rig or a limp it to the lake to get out of weekend chores. I wouldn't rely on something that old that I had no idea how it had been maintained and treated to be my trip of a lifetime conveyance.

A 92 Ford with 62K miles should be an OK if it's been well maintained. But age is your enemy and your going to have swap out all the rubber (engine and tires) and likely have to install new plugs, plug wires, distributor, belts and maybe even water pump. If your not handy that's going to run you $5K? at a dealer. Also - focus on water intrusion - nemesis of older RV's.

Personally with regards to a Ford E350 and E450 based motor home......

With limited exception, I would not consider a motor home older than a 2003 to avoid the engine spark plug head-thread issues.

A Ford E350 and E450 prior to 1998 will lack much, but will still be fairly reliable as long as it is in good condition.

The transmission has gotten better and better along the way. Any transmission regardless of model year have a good reputation, but the older ones lack an extra gear (or 2 pending how old) resulting in lesser gearing behavior, and are less fuel efficient.

There are more recent thresholds. 2009 was the first year with a more capable chassis along with the current day dash board with glove box and better 12V outlet positioning. If the rig you are considering is on the heavy side, a 2009 will be a wiser choice. If the rig is lighter-weighted like ours, the excessive capability will just yield a rougher ride.

After sitting idle for 6 years there are going to be major problems from lack of lubrication. Obviously whoever owned it never took it out on the road to keep the engine and wheels lubricated. Probably never changed the oil in 6 years. Walk away!!!

What do you mean by they can't tell you what accessories it has? If you mean if it has a bird chirping clock added by the previous owner or a towel rack inside the sink cabinet door, that's one thing, But of they can't tell you the included basics of that RV, odds are it's a scam looking to rip you off or get your contact info for spamming.

3800 miles per year indicates a bunch of sitting around.
