We had a power awning on on previous TT and it worked very well, without issue for six years! It had the shocks to dump any water that would start to gather, and I could still pull down, and lock a side if I chose to !
The dump feature worked great here in Florida with the quick, afternoon down pours. If we were out on our, bikes, at the beach, springs, etc, there was no rushing to get back to lower a side!
Midnight wind / rain storm? get out of bed, push a button, back to bed ! Maybe....look outside to see others out in the rain / wind fighting with the manual awnings !
