Trip from Long Island to Myrtle Beach
Anyone have tips on best routes heading south since the Francis Scott Bridge is shut down and our fifth wheel cannot go thru the tunnel.

We are in SE PA... you can use this same route from LI
Take the Delaware Memorial Bridge into DE, hop onto Rt 1 south at the Christianity Mall.. Take Rt 1 south to 301 West... continue on 301 / 50 over the Annapolis Bay Bridge and about 20 minutes you will merge onto 95 south . You will be about 17 miles N of the draw bridge at DC.. - OR -
we take rt 1 south to the end and jump onto 13s. stay on 13 south all the way to the CBBT into Norfolk. Once in Norfolk take 64 to 264 to rt 58..go 58 to 13 to NC 11 .. take NC 11/13 S into Kinston NC... That is 3.5 hrs from Cape Charles VA, the start of the CBBT.. There is a rather large truck stop there the can be used for fuel, food, bathroom etc... from there stay on 11 s to 41 s and onto 40 towards Wilmington.. exit onto I 140 .. take 140 to 17. 17 to 57 to 9 to 31.. from there, either hop off onto 22 for North MB.. or stay on for the Strand area.... Easy ride, nice roads, little traffic.. it sure beats 95 and all those cities nd all that stop and go traffic
