Any propane grills equal to Weber Genesis E310

Hello,

Although this grill is not for use on my RV (I have the Weber Baby Q 100 for that) I need help in finding the right propane grill to replace my rotted out falling apart home grill.

I currently have a Char Broil Commercial Infrared gas grill. I will not purchase another. The igniter stopped after 1 year and the so called stainless is rusted out so bad that the grates are ready to fall completely out. So I am in the market for a new grill.

I really like the look and feel of the Weber Genesis E310 but at $699 it is on the high side. I was wondering if anybody knew of a comparable brand that might not cost quite as much or should I just bite the bullet and get the Weber?

    Buy the Weber. You will always be able to buy replacement parts for it if you need them.

    Get a Weber. Starts and cooks with just one push of the button even after 8 months in storage and two moves to a new house

    My son has had a Weber for about 6 years now and he cooks out a lot. He has never had a problem with it. I don't know the model, but it's a stainless 3 burner.

    Broil King Porta Chef. Includes removable legs and stows far better than a Weber. The low end Weber is 8,500 btu and the Porta Chef is 14,000 btu. As to the parts issue, Broil King is more common than Weber. Weber 189 sq in, Porta Chef 220 sq in., 16% larger cooking surface. Whole bunch cheaper. Home Depot Porta Chef with stand $130, Weber Q $189 - stand extra. Have had a Weber, not in the same league as the Porta Chef.

    He's looking for a real grill. Not a Porta Chef.

    If you can hold off a short while, grills go on sale after the big spring push. You just have to watch for the sales.

    Check out Ducane Grills, they have been around for a lot of years and parts are easy to fine!

    If you like the BBY Q 100, buy the adult size for the house.
