Yes! I cook hamburger with onions, drain all grease and rinse (to remove as much fat as possible). Then I freeze it so that I can use it any way I want.
Last time, I added stir fried green peppers to it, piled it on French bread split in half, added provolone cheese on top and baked in a 350 degree oven until hot and cheese was melted. Instant faux Philly cheese steak.
I also prebake chicken breasts and then I freeze. Thaw at the campsite, add bbq sauce and throw on the grill, or you can still marinade them in McCormack seasoning and grill. You have so many options.
Makes things quick and easy.
