Before I went Full-Time I pre-cooked all my meals for the trip and froze them in small containers. Stew a chicken with carrots and potatoes. Pull the vegtables out and freeze and then pull off all the chicken off the bones and freeze in small amounts and you can add that to just about anything.
Now while full timing I take one day a week and set the entire day aside to make a big pot of slow cooked chicken soup, some sort of ground beef or pot roast type of stew and a big pot of rice. Put it in containers and freeze it.
I find by keeping my freezer full of individual home cooked meals, that when I am tempted to eat out at fast food places I actually find it easier to pop one of my home cooked meals in the micro to warm up. Which in turn helps me eat healthier.:C
