- Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with a man crying at a great movie, holding a crying baby and talking baby talk to it, holding a puppy and thinking it's a great thing. On the other hand, I've know men who are hunters who are down right jerks.

I don't think you can blame the media. My observations about men being less manly seems to stem from the fact that the women are just doing a better job at it then the men.JoshInReno wrote:

Grilled or raw produce is acceptable as well. - Not very original. It's not atypical as I read the book Art of Manliness - lots of borderline plagiarism of the likes of Ben Franklin. Some good material but ultimately rather contrived.
I do like the idea however, which is for men to be men and not be the wimpy, awkward, nerdy image which the media would like men to be. - Mens recipes? Really? Other than grilling/smoking savory meats over a heat source I have no recipes.

Well I have to admit I do read some recipes, but he's absolutely right about the other things.
