In a saucepan saute some coursely chopped onions in a bit of oil. Drain a couple of cans of pork and beans well (press it out), then add (to taste) brown sugar, ketchup. A little bit of prepared mustard and BBQ sauce of your choice if you like it tangy. All all to pan of onion and cook over slow heat for 10-15 minutes. If you want a true "baked" bean dish then put it in a casserole dish instead and bake with strips of bacon on top for 20-30 minutes at 350.
