Pepper steak. Use a meat tenderizer to cut the fibers, of meat. Pound it out.Roll in flour twice, with egg wash and milk in between. LET sit a few minutes. Fry, on medium until crispy and reduce heat in bacon drippings,add milk and rough of mil and flour,with salt and coarse black pepper. Don't let meat stick. Add more milk or cream as needed. WHEN it gets fork tender, take it out.Make more gravy. Don't let the kids get to the table, until you do or you might not get any.
