Venison Sauce Piquante.
I make something similar to this. We call it swiss steak. I use venison, bell pepper, onion, bay leave, garlic, 1 can tomato paste diluted with water. I cook on stove or crockpot. We serve ours first time with dumplings or mashed potatoes. Reheat cut in small pieces and put over noodles. I like the idea of smoked sausage. I will have to try your recipe. Sounds good.
