Christmas in the rig

We leave our home base in Reno in 9 days (and counting) for Casa Grande AZ where we will be until late March early April.

I have some ideas of my own for Xmas dinner but wondering what others that are in their rig over the next holiday after Thanksgiving have in mind?

  • We do grilled foods, steak, shrimp or anything else that sounds good.

We're in Tucson (brick and mortar) and the wood fired oven should be done by then. If so, we're having pizza, some Turkish dishes that we learned to make over there, and who knows what else. You're not that far from the east side of Tucson......just saying

But very hard to come by up North from what I've heard.

Plentiful at the moment $6 to $7 a pound up here.

Both have a group dinner for residents.
    Call them

We'll be at Casa Grande RV Resort again this year and they may have something going on for Xmas.

We prefer to cook in/by the rig on Xmas.

    Thanks though.

We like to get the Oregon coast (Coos Bay) in early June and the Dungeness are fresh and plentiful. The Fish Market right on the docks is fabulous.

  • Prime Rib or Catch of the Day. Depends on where we are. Dungeness crab is in season.........
  • We will be at Brooking, Oregon for Christmas and will be making Christmas dinner for four. Either grilled tenderloins or grilled teriyaki flank steak with twice baked potatoes and salad.
