Why do you think it is funny? What do you think the cowboys and early patriots did. They **** sure didn't have a Starbucks down the block.
Nope green beans tossed and roasted in a cast iron pan. - ppineExplorer III remember a story about coffee that puts things in perspective for me. It has a lot to do with context. A few friends were helping to herd cattle in North Dakota during fall round-up. The cow hunt started at 0400. They had instant coffee in styroam cups. Compared to no coffee, it was perfect. One of the hands took at sip and announced "that mister is a good cup of coffee."
At the ranch we always put egg shells in with the grounds to neutralize the acid of non=Arabica beans. I made coffee in a pot on the kitchen stove at home for 25 years the same way. - hokeypokeyExplorerBeen buying Chase & Sanborn at Menards. Good value & were not stuck on any brand.

Fill the big pot with cold, fresh water and bring to boil. Put 1 cup coffee grounds in a small bowl and crack in 1 raw egg. Stir until egg is combined with grounds. Add to softly boiling water, about 1/2 at a time. Boil softly for about 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat, add about 1 cup cold water to make grounds sink. Enjoy ! —Personally, I’d use more coffee grounds— Jebby14 wrote:
