We use Folgers a lot, go back and forth with Black Silk and other varieties. We seem to like Folgers the best out of the more "affordable" coffees.
We like New England Coffee, don't know if it is just around me (Connecticut), but they make a very good French Vanilla that we use 50-50 to make a pot, one scoop Folgers and one scoop French Vanilla.
Our grocery store, Stop & Shop, has started carrying Lavazza coffee. Really good, but I usually only buy it when it is on sale. Lavazza Kilimanjaro Single Origin is quite good.
I like to try different coffees when they are on sale. A lot of the more expensive coffees really aren't all that great, but it is nice when you stumble on a really good one.
At home most of the time we use a drip coffee maker. Camping is usually a 14 cup percolator on the stove, or a French Press if we don't need that much coffee. The French Press is odd - seems to make even iffy coffee taste great!
We usually have a couple different coffees available to use, so each morning I try to mix things up a bit. Even really good coffee gets boring day after day.
We've also found that when camping - either with our camper, or at a friend's Vermont cabin - ANY hot coffee on a cold morning seems to taste fantastic. Odd, huh?
