Cooking for family get together.

In a few weeks were having a family get together. About I think it's about 30 people. It's pot luck, but most people bring more or less the same stuff every year. Cheap hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, pasta salad, backed beans, cheap BBQ, ext.

I'm looking for ideas for something different to bring. Last year took 10 pounds of shrimp and put them in a maple glaze for a few hours and grilled them. They went over well and were eaten as fast I as pulled them off the grill, but there were comments about us going over the top for a pick nick.

I'm looking for something different I can bake or grill.
  • One of my big hits at a picnic or group get together is a baked enchilada casserole. It's really quite simple and you can make it in the oven or a dutch oven over a bed of coals.

Search on the internet and there are a ton of good recepies
