I've had a West Bend slow cooker for many years. Its actually a rectangular Teflon lined metal container that sits on top of a Teflon coated base. Three heat settings. About 2 1/2 Qt. capacity. As a single RVer, its the right size for me, and the container fits in the sink for washing. Unbreakable. When I'm in an RV park for a few days, I can start a meal in the morning, be gone all day, and come back to a finished meal.
I'd love to tell you that they're available everywhere, but I've never seen another one anyplace.
