You aren't just a kidding. I started out thinking I was making this recipe but by the time I got done, I wasn't too sure. In any event, it ROCKED THE HOUSE! It was awesome. Here are my list of tweaks for folks to consider:
Step 1, I melted some butter, added 3 cloves of fresh minced garlic (this was a must add) :-)
Step 2, added fresh chopped mushrooms and torn spinach
Step 3, cooked the tortellini in half the called for liquids, did a rough puree on the stewed tomatoes
Step 4, just before serving, I made a white sauce with the cream cheese, half & half and parmesan cheese and added it to the tomato broth.
