Crossing the Reuben-con

How do you like your Reuben?

We like it with either corned beef or pastrami (whichever we have on hand)
Sauerkraut
Gruyere cheese
Brown mustard
Rye bread

Not overstuffed; grilled in a little butter just until the cheese melts.

    A true Reuben has Russian Dressing, not Thousand Island...

    The Reuben ceases to be called a Reuben if Pastrami is used, it is then called a Rachel Sandwich!

    Now I'm hungry. Nothing beats a good Reuben and yours sounds mighty good.

    You saw my pictures. The one thing that is a deal breaker for me, I can't stand caraway seeds in rye bread so it has to be marble or dark rye bread.

    That pretty much sums up how I like mine.
