My wife made this tonight along with asparagus and garlic topped with mozzarella cheese and boiled smashed yellow squash and butter

Deluxe Salmon Cakes
2 regular cans of pink salmon cleaned
Olive oil
Garlic salt I used Lawry's Brand, to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 medium yellow onion 1 cup, finely diced
1/2 red bell pepper seeded and diced
3 Tbsp unsalted butter divided
1 cup Panko bread crumbs
2 large eggs lightly beaten
3 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup parsley finely minced

Mix it all together form patty’s and fry till golden brown

Super easy and wow was it good

Very similar to my recipe but I add a couple chopped jalapeños. I like it with a homemade tartar sauce.

Yeppir we like the homemade tartar as well.

My recipe is even more simple. Ingredient amounts vary according to how many I make.
    Older bread, finely chopped
Can or foil packs of salmon
    Chopped onion
    Eggs
Dash or two of liquid smoke if I'm not doing a smoker.
Salt, pepper and a smidge of oregano.

Combine and make into thin patties. Fry in a medium-hot cast iron skillet.

When it comes to taste preferences everyone is a little different. The nice thing about salmon patties is that you can change the spices to whichever ethnic flavor grabs your fancy. Some like Mexican, some like Asian, come like Cajun and everyone is happy.
