Just started using buttermilk again and found out that it's not "real" buttermilk! It's been extended with fillers like modified food starch and carageenan or locust bean gum! None of this garbage do...

Here's what I found when I read that you can make homemade baking powder...pretty easy - a 2:1 ratio of Cream of Tartar to Baking Soda.
Read the reviews, too. Some love the fact that no more aluminum in their baked goods.
