I'm biased but my wife's is the best. She uses toasted white bread cubed. Sautés a bunch of onion and chopped apples in butter and mixes it in with salt and pepper. She takes chicken stock and apple juice with a couple eggs mixed in and pours it over the rest and bakes it in her deep casserole covered about an hour and a half. It's sweet, salty, and savory. No one else's can compare. Like I said I'm only a little biased.
