  • Thanks for the links!
Just started reading the one from Idaho.
  • Thank you! I'm new to Dutch Ovens and will use these resources!

Anything similar for griddle cooking? I just got a 32" griddle for my camp chef burners! This is going to be the year of good cooking at the camp site!
  • Check out the Lone Star Dutch Oven Society LSDOS webpage.
Lot of information for cooking and preserving your cast iron
also see if there is a LSDOS chapter meeting near you some saturday in the near future.
  • That's a lot of good info there! Thanks for this. Looks like i have a bit of reading to do.

Glad to have you among the Cast Iron Chefs. Double ditto on the Lone Star Dutch Oven pages. There's a lot you can do with those griddles from eggs to hash browns to steak. If you've ever been to a Waffle House you can see how versatile they are.

Those Camp Chefs are nice. We've tried a lot of rigs but like the Camp Chef stoves best for those long term trips and for at home.
