Fat-Free Half & Half?
The wife brought home a recipe that called for Fat-Free Half & Half. Really? I'm confused.

Now that you mention carageenan, it makes sense. When I was a kid out of high school, I worked in a place that made food flavorings, etc. We used a lot of carageenan. It's a natural product that makes things like Chocolate Milk "thick" when you drink it. Used extensively in ice cream too.
