Did this tent camping at 9000+ feet in Colorado over camp fire and continue to this day, if at a paid camp ground i do it in the TT.
Breakfast hash:
12" iron skillet, ya the old black ones!
Cook up a pound of bacon diced
Remove bacon
3 large russet potatoes diced
salt, pepper, garlic salt
When potatoes close to done (browned)
Add 1 slice onion diced (I do a thicker slice)
When onion is softened add bacon back in.
Take off fire, or turn stove on low
Crack 6 eggs into the mix
Stir until eggs until they are they are just about the way you like them
Since without the kids I can divide them into 3 breakfasts.
To clean pan, wipe out with paper towel (NO soap).
