My dad said that whenever mom overcooked something. She would inform him that if he didn't shut up and get out of the kitchen he would dook supper the next day. That would have been ok because he was a very good cook.

My dad also told all 3 of his sons that they should learn to cook so that they didn't have to get married to eat good food.
