I ran across this the other day and can't believe I haven't seen it before. For a large group if you want to make corn on the cob, clean out a cooler, add shucked corn, add boiling water, close lid and let cook for 30 minutes. It gets perfect and will stay that way for hours. It's great if you are cooking for a large crowd.

Did this for the first time last week for a graduation party - it worked WONDERFULLY. Everyone raved about how well the corn was cooked (not overdone) and it stayed warm for quite a while. I think everyone was as shocked as I was. ;-) I'm planning on doing this again for our 4th of July camping trip!
