Food saver salads...?
Anyone have any luck using Food Saver vacuum bags to store salads? Minus the tomatoes of course. Needs to be bags not jars...Thanks!

Yes, we put the salad in Foodsaver bags all the time. However, you should just gently push the air out as much as possible with your fingers, then seal. Don't use the vacuum, or you wind up with salad mush, and while it might taste okay, one usually can't get past the "ewww" looks.
