We're on our third FoodSaver, having worn out the first two. We seal commercial bags, use the FoodSaver rolls for vacuum sealing things to size, and have a collection of FoodSaver containers we regularly use. Also have the Mason jar sealers (large and small).
We do not normally have frozen foods go bad, because we learned to cycle our freezer stocks. No tossing stuff on top for us -- we actually move bottom to top regularly.
Since we retired and no longer eat out, you'd think the grocery bill would have gone up. Nope. Thanks to bulk buys, cooking mass quantities and freezing them in 1-2 servings packages, or just freezing bulk buys into 2-person sizes, we've cut the grocery bills.
Love our FoodSaver.
