Game Day Snack

I had a bag of frozen buffalo wings in the freezer so I thought I'd try smoking them. I put them in frozen at 300 degrees until they were crispy. Not a lot of smoke flavor being that they are already cooked but enough to make them better than just out of the bag in the oven or on the grill. Once the wings were crisp, I coated them with some of my standard wing sauce (honey, butter and hot sauce) and put back in the heat for about 10 minutes to set the glaze of the sauce.

  • All these posts about smoking meats - but no info in the smoker! Fess up - what are you using? I'll post up mine in a bit - got two racks of pork ribs foiled right now getting ready for the Charger Game...
  • B_T, I've got 2 smokers, a cheapo propane unit very similar to a masterbuilt 30 and a higher end Smokin-It model 4, which is an electric. I usually do small batches or side dishes in the propane smoker and use the electric for my long duration meat smokes.
