Really?? If someone invites you to dinner and serves a can of soup-but has good conversational skills-you're okay with that?
Yeppir you betcha.
Having been poor myself when first starting out, a can of soup was a luxury. Yet the stories and tales of some of the poorest folks I've known were some of the best conversations in my life. One fellow shared his bag of corn chips with me and his story was better than a five star restaurant: he was an Army vet who'd lost a leg in Vietnam.
