When I was a kid, my dad use to split hot dogs down the middle and fry them. I havent' done that in several years. Hum... may just do that for supper tonight, or a great snack about 7:30 tonight! Thanks Old-Biscuit for the memory!
You know, ... you can fry Bologna the same way too. I haven't done that in years too. If frying Bologna, make small cuts in it so it won't curl up so bad.
You could throw a "twist" on things and do a Brat, or a Sausage dog. We get ONLY all BEEF hot dogs. There is a difference with the cut-rate brand (not cut rate in price ...), cut rate in ingredients. All beef is still the best.
