How many sides are too many?
Looks like a small turnout for Thanksgiving at our house this year. My wife starts rattling off all the dishes she thinks belongs on the menu and I tell her that we have more side dishes than people....

Last thanksgiving my step daughter got carried away like that and so much got wasted. The kids had a few mouthfuls of turkey, wouldn't eat vegetables. Same with my BIL. SIL is also a very picky eater, won't eat meat off the bone or most veggies. He will only have the sweetest desserts. Yuck.
My wife made a great casserole then didn't have any, filled up on mashed potatoes and gravy. I was the only one to have Brussels sprouts, I love them with gravy. If DW had not intervened the carcass would have been thrown out, DIL won't make soup. A meal like that is wasted on our lot.
