How many sides are too many?
Looks like a small turnout for Thanksgiving at our house this year. My wife starts rattling off all the dishes she thinks belongs on the menu and I tell her that we have more side dishes than people....

Not hosting for T-Day this year; my turn will come in December but according to my sister the menu for 10-14 stands at:
corn pudding
green beans (w/o that side everyone would prolly go home disgruntled on my end;))
rice and peas
sauteed Swiss chard, peppers and onions (also serves as stuffing for the whole fish)
sweet potato puree
brussel sprouts hash
cranberry chutney
Don't consider salad or soup as true sides since they're separate courses but a simple green salad and carrot ginger soup will be there as well.She was going to give me butternut squash from her garden for the soup but the hedgehogs got there first:(.
Some version of roast turkey. She fussed w/ me when I asked how she was cooking it this morning sooo her printed menu won't be anymore descriptive than that. I'm doing the menu layout today so boogies on any changes.
Dessert will be a pumpkin roulade, apple pie, and a fruit and nut platter.
All sides will be made to serve 10-12 and takeout containers have been saved for months so the hosts aren't overwhelmed with leftovers.
